"FROM LARVA TO MONSTER: LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME" captures the super rare private MOTHRA spawning session of July 2006 that inevitably lead to the rise of the beast MOTHRACIDE!

This LP will allow you the listener to hear many classic Cult of the Moth hymns in their raw unfiltered original form! Marvel at the sounds of the past, while appreciating what the present has to offer, and keeping an eager ear towards the heavens for future services!!

"From Larva to Monster" was originally recorded on a classic SR 3000 dual stereo tape deck from the early 70's. The tapes were painstakingly cleaned to bring you the lo-fi sounds that you hear on the record. The album was recorded back in the Summer of 2006 in the span of roughly 2 hours and eventually compiled, edited, and eventually released on CD in the Summer of 2008 after the surprise popularity of the live bootleg tape among tape trading circles had sparked interest in a CD version. The rest is now all history. Long live the Moth, the Cult of the Moth love you!
